The planet is just a rock with a little coating of water and gasses floating through space, it will be fine until the sun expands and goes Supernova.

Life in this thin layer of water and gas is however a different story, quite possible that in a few thousand years the biosphere will have become to hot to sustain carbon based life as we know it.
